Welcome to the Student Success Center at Georgia Southern University.

The Student Success Center (SSC) provides academic advisement for individuals seeking initial teacher certification. Undergraduate students in the College of Education are advised each term by appointment and/or walk in hours. To schedule an appointment, come to the SSC in the College of Education Building, room 1107.

The SSC is here to help you access the services you need for a successful undergraduate experience.

You are our reason for being here! We are dedicated to providing quality, consistent academic advisement in a supportive and caring atmosphere. Our aim is to help future teachers understand what is expected of them both academically and ethically and to assist them in achieving their educational goals.

As an education major you will be assigned a professional advisor who specializes in your particular area of interest. Your advisor will meet with you on a regular basis and is available to assist you in planning and implementing your program of study.

Georgia Southern University accepts the premise that ultimately a student's program is his/her own responsibility.
