Call for Proposal_SEPES conference

Attached you will find the 2016 Call for Papers for this year’s SEPES conference, which will be held in Asheville, North Carolina from February 4-6, 2016 at the Doubletree Hotel near the Biltmore Estate. A special session commemorating the 100th anniversary of Dewey’s Democracy and Education  has been planned. This session will bring together members of The John Dewey Society, SEPES, and SAPES to discuss the continued relevancy of Dewey’s seminal text. Panelist include: Randy Hewitt, Kurt Stemhagen, Kathy Hytten, and George Noblit.
Also, new to SEPES this year are a few changes that will facilitate our ability to communicate more readily:
1) SEPES now has a facebook page. Please search for “SEPES” on facebook, “like” us, and be sure to check back there for conference updates.

2) Submissions this year will take place electronically. Exact directions appear in the attached CFP. Please utilize the following link for your submission: http://tinyurl.com/sepes-sapes
