Driving Directions
From the West via I-16 (and from Atlanta joining I-16
in Macon) :
On I-16 take the US-301 Exit to Statesboro (first exit to Statesboro).
Continue into Statesboro (approx. 10 miles) on US-301. At the
third full traffic light, turn right onto the US-301 & Hwy
67 Bypass (also marked as Veterans Memorial Parkway). At
the second street on the left which is Akins Blvd, you will
see the Georgia Southern entrance with columns. Turn left onto
Akins Blvd and continue until it ends at Forest Drive. The College
of Education is directly in front of you. Parking is available
in the lot to your right. Passengers may be unloaded on the
drive that circles the pond.
From the East via I-16 (and from Savannah airport taking
I-95 South to I-16 West) :
On I-16 take the Hwy 67 Exit to Statesboro (first exit to
Statesboro). Continue approx. 10 miles on Hwy 67 to the traffic
light at the US-301 & Hwy 67 Bypass (also marked as
Veterans Memorial Parkway). Turn Left onto the Bypass/Verterans
Memorial Pkwy. At the first traffic light, continue straight
through the intersection and then look for the first road
on the right which is Akins Blvd. You will see the Georgia
Southern entrance with columns. Turn right onto Akins Blvd
and continue until it ends at Forest Drive. The College of
Education is directly in front of you. Parking is available
in the lot to your right. Passengers may be unloaded on the
drive that circles the pond.
From the North via Augusta:
Take US-25 traveling south to Statesboro. Before actually
entering the city, there is a traffic light at the junction
with Truck Route/US25/Hwy67 Bypass. Turn Right onto US25/67
Bypass (also known as Veterans Memorial Parkway.) Continue
on the Bypass approx. 5 miles to the intersection with US-301.
(It will be the 2nd intersection with a full traffic light.)
Continue straight through this intersection and then look
for the second street on the left which is Akins Blvd. You
will see the Georgia Southern entrance with columns. Turn
left onto Akins Blvd and continue until it ends at Forest
Drive. The College of Education is directly in front of you.
Parking is available in the lot to your right. Passengers
may be unloaded on the drive that circles the pond.
