The Director of Field Experiences and Partnerships initiates the communication with P-12 schools in regard to field experiences. Program Coordinators will notify the Director of projected placement needs one semester before the field experiences are to occur. The Director will submit a request to P-12 schools to determine the level of interest in the different field experiences. The contact person at each school site (either the clinical associate or principal/principal designee) will review the requests and submit approval via e-mail to the Director. Utilizing the school data, programs will make teacher candidate placement assignments that are submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Teacher Education. Placement assignments will be compiled and sent electronically to schools.
