Jim Green joined the GSU faculty in 2008 where he teaches in the Ed.D. program in Educational Administration.  He began his career in education over thirty years ago as a high school English teacher; and his public school administrative experience includes serving as the superintendent of schools in South Haven, Kansas, and as the founding director of the Indiana Academy of Science, Mathematics, and Humanities, a state-wide residential school for academically gifted high school students.  He has been on the faculties of several universities in both teaching and administrative roles.  His academic publications include three books, as well as dozens of journal articles, book chapters, and monographs; and, he is a frequent presenter at national and international education conferences. In addition, his poetry has appeared in over a dozen literary magazines in the U.S.A., England, and Ireland; and a collection of his poems is forthcoming from Finishing Line Books.  He received B.A. and M.S. degrees from Southwest Missouri State College, the Ph.D. in Education from Saint Louis University, and the M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles.  He currently focuses his research and writing on leadership and ethics.
