General Background

Dr. Marina has worked for the past eleven years in higher education and Higher education administration in Ohio, as a coordinator for educational centers, and academic advisor, and as an assistant Dean for the University College. Her career as an educator includes teaching undergraduate first-year experience courses. She teaches graduate level courses and has served as an internship mentor for students pursuing Higher Education Administration degrees.  She has developed and conducted faculty development workshops and assisted with incorporating technology into courses. Dr. Marina also has a medical background, serving fifteen years in the field of Radiologic Technology. Currently, Dr. Marina is serving as an advisor for the Teen Council at the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County.
