Responsibilities include teaching 15 hours of mathematics (both transfer and developmental) with an emphasis on technology. Other duties include holding 10 office hours per week, attending appropriate meetings, serving on both departmental and college wide committees, and other duties as assigned by the Mathematics Department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in mathematics or related field with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics. Two years college teaching experience is required. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for the two years college teaching experience on the approval of the reviewing committee.

Preferred Knowledge or Experience:

Demonstrated commitment to teaching mathematics using a variety of techniques and motivations is required. Experience teaching with technology such as products for computer assisted and on-line delivery of instruction is desired. Also desired is experience teaching compressed video or other distance learning formats.
