Duties/Responsibilities:
The Academic Strategies courses introduce the new student to diverse academic content, emphasizing learning strategies and critical thinking skills in preparation for rigorous college study. The successful candidate must be able to provide instruction in areas of learning styles, study skill development, critical reading, and critical thinking.
Requirements:
Doctorate in student development, education, or related field and previous college-level teaching required as well as a strong commitment to creating a student-centered learning environment, providing academic advising, and pursuing professional development.
