Purdue University is seeking an experienced, hard-working, and energetic leader to serve as the Associate Director of Student Access, Transition, and Success Programs (SATS). The position will focus primarily on student transition and success related programming. The individual will oversee orientation and transfer programs (Day on Campus, Boiler Gold Rush, and Welcome Programs) as well as student success efforts including Learning Communities. In these capacities, the Associate Director will

serve as supervisor for two Senior Assistant Directors of Student Access, Transition, and Success Programs. Preferred candidates will

exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills as well as strong management, leadership and decision making

skills. Candidates must have at least three-to-five years of experience of direct supervision of professional staff including responsibility for or assistance with hiring, coaching and feedback, progressive discipline, etc. In addition, the individual should have the ability to implement multiple projects to successful completion and the capacity to relate to diverse groups of students, faculty, staff and alums.

The Associate Director will be asked to serve in the following roles and functions in the SATS department:

*Direct operations, including hiring, orientation, supervision, and performance evaluations for the Senior Assistant Directors working with Learning Communities and Orientation Programs

*Direct and develop policies related to Day on Campus and the department\'s parent and family programming efforts. Exercise fiscal authority and management of budgets and resources

*Along with the Director and the other Associate Director, comprise the department\'s leadership team and oversee strategic planning, new program

development and refinement

*Guide assessment and evaluation efforts for student success programs within SATS

*Assist with other SATS efforts, including access pieces (Purdue Opportunity Awards and Twenty-first Century Scholars, etc.)

*Other departmental or Enrollment Management related duties as assigned by the Director of Student Access, Transition, and Success Programs or the designee thereof

The anticipated salary range will be $55,000-$67,000 depending on experience. Interested parties must apply for the position online,
