Duties/Responsibilities:
This position acts as the central resource where students, instructors, staff, and other interested parties may access information concerning developmental classes.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Developmental Education preferred or minimum of a Master's degree in Education, Curriculum, Instructional Design, or an area specifically related to developmental education with extensive experience. At least 18 graduate hours in English, Math, Reading, or Education.
Three years of developmental teaching experience with emphasis on curriculum design and/or educational programs for post-secondary education.
Experience in facilitating and working with groups in developing outcomes related educational programs.
High proficiency in data-entry and document preparation (MS Word, etc.)
Excellent oral communication, writing, and editing skills. Strong attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with diverse constituencies
Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff
