ò Demonstrate knowledge of or experience in career services, academic advising, counseling, and learning support

ò Collaborate with appropriate university personnel to develop resources and methods regarding student degree and career exploration and selection

ò Oversee all appropriate personnel training

ò Conduct required assessments

ò Exercise control over related budgetary and outside fundraising functions

ò Articulate and disseminate the vision and needs of ACE to constituents

ò Maintain timeline of ACE as outlined in its strategic plan

ò Collaborate with the ACE advisory board as needed/appropriate

ò Teach a three hour course load per semester in the applicant's field

Applicants for the position must hold an earned doctorate from a regional institution with coursework related to the position. This position reports directly to the Assistant Provost for Student Success/Dean of Students. Information about the ACE initiative can be found at www.nsula.edu/qep.
