Duties/Responsibilities:
The Mathematics Department is seeking a tenure track assistant professor whose responsibilities will include teaching developmental mathematics; redesigning, coordinating and assessing the college's developmental mathematics program; and directing the college's student support services in mathematics. The college is committed to developing innovative approaches in both developmental mathematics and in the delivery of support services. The successful candidate will have a career commitment to working in developmental mathematics, to supporting learning across the mathematics curriculum, to studying teaching and learning processes in math and to working collaboratively with faculty and administrators across the campus. Additional responsibilities include advising students and participating in departmental and college activities.
Requirements:
A terminal degree is required.
