The Center of Academic Success invites applicants for the position of Director of Writing Center.
Description
Supervision of Writing Center
Working with faculty on development of Writing Across the Curriculum
Participation in the assessment of writing program including Freshmen composition sequence and eventually Writing Across Curriculum
Recommending other initiatives, as needed to improve student writing
Working with the Developmental Education Director to support transition of students from remedial writing into the English Composition
Requirements:
Masters Degree, Doctorate preferred, in writing, English education, or related field.
Start Date: October 2009 or ASAP
