Director, Upward Bound

Duties/Responsibilities:
To provide primary leadership for philosophy, objectives, goals and budget of Upward Bound and SCOPE; and to coordinate and assist in development and implementation of Upward Bound activities. Administers budgets for department. Maintains student database records for various program reporting responsibilities. Develops and supervises program staff. Trains program staff including Coordinators, Teachers, and Resident Counselors.
Requirements:
Master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field; with minimum three years experience with low income and potential first generation college bound youth and minimum three years experience providing advising and counseling assistance to students and parents, supporting enrollment in postsecondary education. Graduate of Upward Bound program and/or targeted high schools preferable.
