$40,000-45,000.00 Ten-Month Appointment

This position reports to the Director, Academic Center for Excellence and is responsible to assist in the development, promotion and administration of the peer tutoring and supplemental instruction programs, which assists students in the development of effective academic skills and content area competencies. This is a full-time, ten month position with excellent benefits, and requires some late afternoon and evening hours.

Familiarity with tutor training and the CRLA certification process is required. Experience teaching or tutoring at the college level is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to effectively counsel students and establish effective working relationships faculty and other campus resources. Highly developed organizational and administrative skills are essential. Certain requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate persons with disabilities.
