Duties/Responsibilities:
Our philosophy at Tri-County Technical College is that SMART Reading is Fundamental to a student\'s success. We believe that our students know how to read, but we want to teach them how to use their Reading to Learn effectively. We are looking for a Lead Developmental Reading Instructor to provide the leadership to accomplish these goals. Enthusiasm and creativity are needed to reorganize and revitalize our reading program. Tri-County is located in Pendleton, South Carolina by the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte. It is in the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains with several lakes close by.
Requirements:
A Master's Degree in Reading Education or in a related field with 18 graduate hours in Reading is required. At least 3 years teaching with some experience in developmental education is needed. Knowledge of instructional software is helpful.
