Duties/Responsibilities: Math Learning Center Coordinator
The University Academic Center is accepting applications for a full-time Math Learning Center Coordinator (Student Services Program Coordinator II).
This position will be responsible for providing direct tutoring services to students; hiring, training, and supervising student tutors; managing the daily activities of the Math Learning Center including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and assessment; administration of the mathematics placement test; planning and scheduling workshops and help sessions for students.
Requirements:
Successful applicants should hold a Master\'s degree in mathematics or statistics. A Master's degree in Secondary Education-Mathematics with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics would also be accepted. Previous experience with learning support programs is preferred. Applicants must have strong written and verbal communication skills, computer skills and the ability to interact positively with students, faculty, administrators, staff and community. Some weekend and evening hours will be required.
