Salary is determined by experience and education.

The Director of the Academic Success Center facilitates academic support, tutoring, and other programs designed to promote student learning and academic success and to support the UniversityÆs retention and recruitment efforts. The Director has responsibility for the comprehensive operation and daily administration of the Academic Success Center, a multi-purpose study center collaborating with others involved in supporting the academic growth and success of students, including faculty, the USF Math Center, the USF Writing Center, the Office of Student Development, the Director of Recruitment and Retention, and the Director of Career and Disability Services.

Duties include managing the academic and administrative functions of the Academic Success Center; teaching first-year experience courses and one section in the first-year Western Heritages sequence; collaborating with administration, faculty, staff, and students regarding academic support; retention; and conducting ongoing assessment.

Required

* Master's degree in education or related field; experience and/or degree in special education considered

* 3-5 years of experience working with students in higher education, preferably in administering a learning center and/or tutoring program.

* Commitment to the University of Sioux Falls mission and values

* Commitment to a Christian liberal arts education

Preferred

* Teaching experience at college level

* Experience in program development

* Classroom and/or program experience with diverse populations
