Cooperatively work within the college community, representing the respective division, to build an environment conductive to learning that meets Lee College's mission and goals.

Represent the instructional interests of the division; monitor programs; supervise full-time faculty, adjuncts, staff, and student assistants; and serve as a liaison among the division, college community and administration.

Student Concerns

ò Advice and counsel students about  academic questions.

ò Hear student concerns and make recommendations to appropriate dean.

ò Mediate student-faculty concerns before  grievance.

The candidate must hold a Masters degree in a related field (Developmental Studies, Math, Reading, English, Etc.). Administrative experience in Developmental Education or Division Chair position is preferred as well as experience teaching in a higher education establishment. This is a security sensitive position.
