Office of the Dean
The administrative offices of the College of Education support the mission and vision of the College. The dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of the College of Education, one of Georgia Southern University's eight colleges. Among other duties, the dean establishes new opportunities for the College and directs its growth and development through shared academic governance.
Undergraduate Teacher Education and Accreditation
The Office of Undergraduate Teacher Education and Accreditation coordinates student teaching and all other field experiences at the undergraduate level in collaboration with the various programs, public schools, and international partners.
Graduate Education and Research
Responsibilities of the associate dean's office include graduate education oversight; graduate recruitment, admission and registration issues; college-level graduate admission approvals; graduate exceptions/appeals; graduate assistant assignments; development and support of research and grant initiatives; and liaison with the College of Graduate Studies.
