New Online Graduate Tuition Rate Announcement

Georgia Southern University announces a new online tuition rate of $350 per credit hour that impacts graduate programs offered fully online. Under the new tuition rate, out-of-state tuition and mandatory fees are waived for students paying online tuition.

Students who are currently enrolled in a fully online graduate program will begin paying the online tuition rate effective summer 2009. New students who will be enrolling in a fully online graduate program will be charged the new rate beginning summer 2008 or the first term in which the program is offered. Under this policy, students enrolled in fully online graduate programs will not be eligible for graduate assistantships.

The graduate programs that will be impacted under this new tuition rate are as follows:
•  Master of Education (MEd) in Accomplished Teaching
•  Master of Education (MEd) in Instructional Technology
•  Master of Education (MEd) in Teaching and Learning with concentration in Instructional Improvement
•  Master of Science (MS) in Kinesiology—Coaching Education Emphasis
•  Master of Science (MS) in Applied Economics (effective fall 2008)
•  Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) (effective fall 2008)

All students enrolled in an online program will be charged the online tuition rate of $350 per credit hour for all courses for which they register.
