Office of Undergraduate Teacher Education and Accreditation

The Office of Undergraduate Teacher Education and Accreditation coordinates student teaching and all other field experiences at the undergraduate level in collaboration with the various programs, public schools, and international partners. The Director of Field Experiences and Partnerships facilitates the Clinical Associate Program, Clinical Supervisor Program, the Partner School Program, and criminal background checks. Under the direction of the Associate Dean, the office facilitates COE assessment activities and all accreditation and accountability activities with the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, and the University System of Georgia Board of Regents.

UTE MISSION

Mission: To serve and support candidates, faculty, staff, administration and partner schools in their work (a) to establish and substain ongoing assessment, and (b) on RPG initiatives.
