NNER - NATIONAL NETWORK FOR EDUCATIONAL RENEWAL
Georgia Southern University is a member of the National Network for Educational Renewal (NNER). In the College of Education, NNER activities are facilitated by the Georgia Center for Educational Renewal.
PRISM - PARTNERSHIP FOR REFORM IN SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS
The Partnership for Reform in Science and Mathematics (PRISM) project is a 5-year project funded by NSF, the National Science Foundation, to the Board of Regents and the University System of Georgia, including four universities (University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Armstrong Atlantic State University and Georgia Southern University), and selected school districts in each region.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (PDD)
The Professional Development District includes Georgia Southern, Screven County's three public schools, the district’s alternative school, and the Savannah River Challenge Program (the state-run residential minimum security juvenile facility located in the county).
