PK-12 Literacy Education

All literacy education programs can be completed entirely online.  Electives are offered both online and in traditional classroom venue.

The literacy programs combine theory into practice and prepares candidates for the fast changing world of literacy preparation at all levels, PK-12.

All COE Graduate Degrees Meet PSC Requirements
Georgia Southern’s College of Education graduate programs meet the certificate upgrade requirements mandated by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). Educators need to review the PSC certificate upgrade Rule 505-2-.41 to ensure selection of the appropriate degree program to qualify for an in-field upgrade or to upgrade by adding a new certification field.
