ATTENTION ADVISEES
The following information is very important
1. Endorsement and Reading Specialist Certificate Students:
If
you wish to enroll in our M.Ed in Reading program (or any other degree program),
you must reapply for admission to the College of Graduate Studies (http://cogs.georgiasouthern.edu/).
2. All Degree Program Students
Download and fill out a Program Of Studies (POS) and be sure to send it to your advisor at least the semester before you intend to graduate. The POS form is a Word document available at this site or from the College of Graduate Studies Homepage. If you submit a Reading POS and find you must make changes, there is an amended form at the COGS Website.
3. RANS
RANS are the numbers you need to register on WINGS. Your letter of admittance should contain your first RAN. Thereafter, RANS are distributed through your GSU web mail account prior to each term. Your advisor is not given a list of your numbers. If you are not sure how to access your web-based email account, call the Registrar's Office or the Office of graduate studies.
4. Exit Exam
Everyone must complete the MED Reading exit Exam the semester before graduation. The exam is on GeorgiaView. You must send your advisor your webct id (not your student id), and we will add you to the course. Follow the directions and complete the exam on GeorgiaView.
5. Graduation
Students apply for graduation on-line through the Registrar's Office web site. You must apply for graduation at the end of the semester BEFORE you are to graduate.
Be sure you've downloaded a Program of studies form from either the reading website or the COGS website
Be sure you send your advisor your GeorgiaView log on so we can add you to the Exit Exam.
