The Experience

Teaching As A Profession Pathway

As an Early Childhood Education, Middle Grades Education, Health and Physical Education, or Special Education major, you will experience the classroom and education field through field experiences and student teaching.  These placements are within a sixty mile radius of the Georgia Southern campus.  Smaller class sizes, a committed faculty and staff, and enriching learning opportunities will make your path to teacher certification an unforgettable and unparalleled experience.

You may also have the unique opportunity to participate in the International Study opportunity (ISO) in an accelerated student teaching experience, accompanied by a four-week international teaching experience.  For more information on ISO, click here.
