Dr. Marina in Morocco to Promote Cross-cultural Research Exchanges
In an effort to promote cross-cultural research exchanges, COE’s Dr. Brenda Marina recently travelled to Morocco where she attended a conference, “Multiculturalism and Public Policy: Cross National Issues and Perspectives.” Her presentation was on “Issues and Perspectives on the Glass Ceiling: A Cross-Cultural Analysis.” The conference provides a forum for dialogue and opens a bridge for collaboration among professionals in academia, government, business, and non-governmental organizations in the U.S. and Morocco.
Pictured here, Dr. Marina presents a token of appreciation on behalf of Georgia Southern University to Monsieur Wail Benjeloun, the President of Mohammed V University during the conference in Rabat, Morocco.
Dr. Marina is associate professor of educational leadership in the COE’s Department of Leadership, Technology, and Human Development. She teaches graduate level courses in higher education administration, serves as an internship mentor for students pursuing higher education administration degrees, and is program coordinator for the M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration.
