One geographical area serves Georgia Southern’s teacher candidate population. A 70 mile service region will serve each Georgia Southern campus. Candidates can expect the maximum one-way travel to schools is 70 miles or less from their identified home campus to a school placement. (This policy does not apply to candidates in a fully on-line M.A.T. program. Please refer to the M.A.T. program website for specific field placement and clinical practice requirements ) The surrounding service region and possible school placement sites are listed below.
