Welcome
The Graduate Education and Research office provides oversight and support for graduate programs and research activities in the College of Education. Some of the responsibilities of this office include:
- Oversight of graduate curricular changes and program development
- Issues with graduate admissions, course enrollment, and graduation
- Liaison with other offices for admissions and university policies that govern graduate education on campus (e.g., University-level graduate admissions)
- Oversight of the Graduate Academic Services Center: http://www.georgiasouthern.edu/coe/gasc/
- Enrollment management and recruitment
- Graduate assistant assignments
- Budget allocation and planning to support graduate education and research initiatives
- Development and support of research/scholarship and grant proposals
