2016 Critics Choice Book Award

curriculumineducation_sageMeng Fang He, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Curriculum, Foundations, and Reading, served as an editor on The SAGE Guide to Curriculum in Education (2015). The American Educational Studies Association has named this book the recipient of the 2016 Critics Choice Book Award. This award serves to recognize and increase awareness of recent scholarship deemed to be outstanding in its field and of potential interest to the members of the association.

Several of the College’s faculty were also involved in this publication including: Marla Morris, Ph.D. (Chapter 13); Robert L. Lake, Ed.D. (Chapter 16); Julie Garlen, Ed.D. (Chapter 18); Daniel Chapman, Ph.D. (Chapter 18); and Sabrina Ross, Ph.D. (Chapter 44).

COE alumna Sonia Janis, Ed.D. was also a contributor to Chapter 55: The Multicultural, Multilingual, and Multiracial Milieu.
