Beck presents at international conference
Scott Beck, Ph.D.
In early November, Scott Beck, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning, was invited to present at the Dakhla TESOL Conference in Western Sahara/Morocco. The conference is sponsored by the Moroccan American Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (MACECE), l’Académie régionale de l’Education et de la Formation (AREF), and Kosmos Energy.
Beck made two presentations for high and middle school teachers of English as a Foreign Language (EFL): “Interactive Lessons for Independent Learners” and “Mentor Texts for Collaborative Reading, Responding, and Writing.”
