Brown publishes book on benefits of tech integration into classrooms
Sally Ann Brown, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Curriculum, Foundations and Reading, recently authored a book that details the use of technological skills to enhance literacy.
“Digital Initiatives for Literacy Development in Elementary Classrooms: Emerging Research and Opportunities” features the latest scholarly research on the benefits of technology integration into classrooms to enhance learning experiences and includes topics such as cloud-based writing, digital graphics, digital photography, instructional design, multimodal literacy, poetry and social semiotics.
