Walton presents and publishes research on performing arts education and African American male academic identity development

In January, Calvin Walton, Ph.D., a lecturer in the Department of Elementary and Special Education on the Armstrong Campus, served as session chair and presented his study, Taking it to the Stage: Performing Arts Education and African American Male Academic Identity Development, at the International Academic Forum’s Conference on Education in Honolulu, Hawaii.
