Hodges presents at international online education conference
Charles Hodges, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Leadership, Technology and Human Development, presented at the International Council for Open and Distance Education’s 2019 World Conference on Online Learning in Dublin, Ireland in November. The paper, titled “Facilitating Your Online Course: Where to Focus Your Efforts When a Course is in Progress,” was co-authored with Patrick Lowenthal of Boise State University, and provides practical strategies and information from currently online teaching and learning research targeted at what online instructors can do to maintain timely response and instructor availability as well as clear assignment instructions.
The paper will be included in the published proceedings that are in production.
