Secondary Education B.S.Ed. Professional Studies (Non-Certification Track)
The Secondary Education B.S.Ed. Professional Studies (Non-Certification Track) program provides students who are interested in education the opportunity to take coursework with planned minors and concentrations. The degree allows for choice in several areas leading to a broad background. This track does NOT lead to initial teacher certification.
During the admission process, ALL students interested in either the non-certification or certification program must declare the B.S.Ed. Secondary Ed. Professional Studies (Non Certification) track as their intended major.
Our program will allow you to choose a specific content area from the following academic subjects: Biology, Chemistry, English, History, Mathematics and Physics. Please note some program courses in the English and History Emphasis areas are only offered on the Armstrong Campus. Some program courses in the Physics Emphasis area are only offered on the Statesboro Campus.
