BSED Secondary Ed. Program Outcomes

Student Learning Outcome #1
Graduates of the Secondary Education B.S.Ed. program will demonstrate their ability to create curriculum that addresses the needs of diverse adolescent students through developmentally responsive practices that incorporate a variety of strategies to deepen learning; meet varying abilities and learning styles; and actively engage learners. 


Student Learning Outcome #2
Graduates of the Secondary Education B.S.Ed. program will implement diverse instructional strategies, inclusive of technology, to meet the varying abilities, learning styles, and cultural assets of all adolescents to deepen student learning within a positive learning environment. 


Student Learning Outcome #3
Graduates of the Secondary Education B.S.Ed. program will accurately inform their instructional practices through analysis and reflection to support students’ developmental needs by designing and implementing diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments to measure student learning.


Student Learning Outcome #4
Graduates of the Secondary Education B.S.Ed. program will demonstrate professional dispositions for educators of adolescents as required by the Georgia Department of Education and the Professional Standards Commission of the State of Georgia.
