Professional development and outreach programs help expand the knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics throughout the region by interacting and engaging with the public at events such as STEMfest, STEM Field Experience, STEM camps and teacher workshops.
i2STEMe proudly offers and supports annual events and programs including:
- i2STEMe School Outreach
- Science Olympiad
- Interdisciplinary STEM Teaching & Learning Conference

- STEM Field Experiences
- Science To-Go
The Institute supports professional development for STEM teachers utilizing online or face-to-face programming and hopes to enhance the STEM pipeline by developing collaborative partnerships with school districts, community colleges and universities in Southeast Georgia. Improving transition between these entities as well as improving engagement through real world, student-centered pedagogy will prepare students for STEM-related job opportunities.
