Service and Outreach
The Center for STEM Education i2STEMed utilizes partnerships in surrounding communities to broaden exposure for students by offering access to STEM learning as well as help teachers implement high impact practices in their classrooms. Professional development and outreach programs help expand the knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics throughout the region by interacting and engaging with the public at local events.
i2STEMed proudly offers and supports annual events and programs including:

- Professional Development Collaboration
- Science Olympiad
The Center supports professional development for STEM teachers utilizing online or face-to-face programming and hopes to enhance the STEM pipeline by developing collaborative partnerships with school districts, community colleges and universities in Southeast Georgia. Improving transition between these entities as well as improving engagement through real world, student-centered pedagogy will prepare students for STEM-related job opportunities.
